We are seeking a detail-oriented Planner to join our growing team in Littleton MA. The Planner will be responsible for production capacity and material planning to ensure the timely delivery of products. This role is essential in coordinating resources optimizing production schedules and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. Ideal candidates will have experience in manufacturing preferably in medical devices and a strong understanding of supply chain and production processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop maintain and monitor weekly production schedules and planning metrics
- Coordinate machine personnel and material resources to meet delivery commitments
- Prioritize and schedule projects based on capacity materials and labor availability
- Communicate forecasted changes and potential impacts on production and staffing needs
- Analyze capacity data and take proactive steps to mitigate or expedite schedule changes
- Coordinate the release of materials and products based on project timelines
- Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure material readiness and production alignment
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to optimize planning and scheduling processes
- Complete additional assignments as directed by management
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration Supply Chain Management Operations Management Industrial Engineering or related field preferred or equivalent experience
- 1-3 years of relevant professional experience in production planning materials coordination supply chain or inventory control
- Experience in medical device manufacturing is highly desirable
- Strong analytical organizational and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
