Located at the corner of University and Mill Omni Tempe Hotel at ASU amplifies Tempes revitalized downtown area and brings some of the largest conference and meeting space to the city. The hotel features 330 guest rooms four dining outlets a spacious pool deck retail and almost 36000 square feet of indoor and outdoor meeting space along with expansive views of the ASU campus and the Tempe cityscape. Job Description
Are you passionate about crafting exceptional cocktails that bring people together At Lucero were looking for an experienced bartender who loves good vibes knows their way around a high-end bar and thrives in an exclusive environment.
At Lucero we believe in the art of hospitality not just serving drinks. Our bartenders are experts at creating memorable moments not only with top-tier cocktails but also through genuine connections with our guests. Were looking for someone who takes pride in crafting a quality experience.
Responsibilities
- Masterfully prepare and serve a wide range of cocktails spirits beers and wines.
- Keep up with a high-volume energetic environment ensuring prompt and friendly service.
- Maintain a deep knowledge of our menu to offer personalized recommendations.
- Recommend food from our made-from-scratch rotating tapas menu.
- Ensure the bar area is always clean and well-stocked.
- Create a welcoming atmosphere and engage with guests to enhance their experience.
- Adhere to all local and state alcohol regulations.
- Collaborate with the team to develop new innovative drink recipes.
- Handle payment transactions accurately and efficiently.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a bartender in a high-volume bar or restaurant.
- Exceptional skill in mixing garnishing and serving drinks.
- Knowledge of local and international drinks wine pairings and the latest mixology trends.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask work in a fast-paced environment and handle stressful situations.
- A passion for delivering outstanding customer service.
- Must be of legal age to serve alcohol and have all necessary certifications (e.g. TIPS Food Handlers Card).
- Flexibility to work late nights weekends and holidays.
