Position: IT Support Specialist
Location: On site Bucharest

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide first- and second-level technical support for hardware software and network issues via email phone and ticketing systems escalating more complex problems as necessary.
- Monitor maintain and troubleshoot network devices including routers switches firewalls and wireless access points to ensure high availability and optimal performance.
- Assist with the setup configuration and upkeep of IT equipment such as computers printers servers and storage devices replacing or repairing faulty components when needed.
- Install configure update and maintain software on Windows and Linux systems ensuring compatibility and licensing compliance.
- Support network tasks including connectivity troubleshooting IP configuration and maintenance of network hardware.
- Manage user accounts groups and permissions within directory services like Active Directory.
- Aid in server virtualization platform and storage system administration and maintenance.
- Coordinate with ISPs or external vendors for connectivity or technical support issues.
- Respond promptly to incidents in line with service level agreements (SLAs).
- Document resolutions maintain knowledge bases and share best practices among team members.
- Stay updated on industry trends emerging technologies and relevant certifications to enhance skills and team contributions.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Native or fluent English (C1) with strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Minimum 3 years experience in IT support including network and systems administration on Windows and Linux platforms.
- Strong networking knowledge (TCP/IP DHCP DNS VPN routers switches firewalls) and network troubleshooting experience.
- Proficiency with Windows Server Active Directory Group Policy and scripting (e.g. PowerShell).
- Hands-on experience with Linux systems (Ubuntu CentOS Red Hat) including system configuration and basic shell scripting.
- Familiarity with virtualization (VMware Hyper-V) and virtual machine management.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Customer-focused professional with a positive attitude and effective support delivery.
- Team player willing to collaborate and share knowledge.
- Strong organizational skills including documenting processes and solutions clearly.
- Experience with helpdesk or ticketing systems is a plus.
- Availability for flexible shifts including nights weekends and holidays.
