Job Description
Requirements
- Degree in Town Planning or a related discipline
- A minimum of 12 years relevant work experience of which 4 years should be at managerial level
- Possession of Corporate Membership of Hong Kong Institute of Planners or a recognised planning professional institution
- Strong communication interpersonal and stakeholder management skills with ability to work independently
Sound knowledge of property development projects as well as the ability and enthusiasm to overcome challenges
Remarks
- Appointment will be made on two-year renewable contract terms

Responsibilities
- Initiate lead and conduct research and studies to identify property development opportunities along existing and future railway lines both locally and internationally
- Manage the master planning process for optimal and sustainable property development including conducting feasibility studies preparing rezoning proposals and mastering layout plans for statutory and non-statutory submissions
- Review town planning system and practice property market and sites conditions
- Manage consultants for work related to planning urban design environmental traffic and other specialised topical areas
- Communicate with government as well as statutory and non-statutory bodies to obtain necessary approval of planning proposals and applications
