Job Summary
Instructional Assistant Academic Services 1.0 FTE School Year (175 days) 15 DaysAn Instructional Assistant assists teachers and other staff and works with students in a specialized aspect of instruction discipline or in-service. These positions involve supervising students as well as assisting in the planning and development of the particular program for students in their area of specialization under the direction of their supervisor. Training of staff and students may also be involved. An instructional assistant works directly under the supervision of an administrator with a significant amount of independent initiative. Union Staff Agreement 23-26 Instructional Assistants at VTVLC work online with students and staff to support student development of online learning skills. This position will collaborate with the Director and Operations Team to align operational goals with the overall mission and vision of VTVLC.
