Job Description

Job Title: Automotive Lube Technician
Location: Lexington KY

Responsibilities

  • Perform oil changes fluid checks and filter replacements

  • Inspect and top off vehicle fluid levels as needed

  • Check and adjust tire pressures

  • Communicate with the parts department to obtain needed parts

  • Keep shop area clean organized and safe

  • Maintain accountability for dealership-owned tools and manuals

  • Operate tools and equipment in a safe and efficient manner

  • Test-drive vehicles and operate diagnostic equipment as needed

  • Assist with diagnosing maintaining and repairing automotive systems (engine transmission brakes steering suspension electrical A/C etc.)

  • Document and complete work as outlined on repair orders following all dealership and factory standards

  • Communicate directly with Service Advisors regarding additional services needed

  • Provide accurate time estimates for additional repairs

  • Perform warranty work to manufacturer specifications

Qualifications

  • Entry-level experience preferred; eagerness to learn and grow required

  • Basic knowledge of automotive diagnostics electrical and engine repair preferred

  • Strong physical dexterity and ability to work with tools

  • Positive customer-focused attitude with strong communication skills

  • Punctual reliable and able to collaborate in a team environment

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Valid drivers license with a clean driving record

  • Basic computer skills

  • Willingness to learn new technology and procedures

  • Excellent customer service skills and a desire to grow in the automotive field
