Job Description
Job Title: Automotive Lube Technician
Location: Lexington KY

Responsibilities
Perform oil changes fluid checks and filter replacements
Inspect and top off vehicle fluid levels as needed
Check and adjust tire pressures
Communicate with the parts department to obtain needed parts
Keep shop area clean organized and safe
Maintain accountability for dealership-owned tools and manuals
Operate tools and equipment in a safe and efficient manner
Test-drive vehicles and operate diagnostic equipment as needed
Assist with diagnosing maintaining and repairing automotive systems (engine transmission brakes steering suspension electrical A/C etc.)
Document and complete work as outlined on repair orders following all dealership and factory standards
Communicate directly with Service Advisors regarding additional services needed
Provide accurate time estimates for additional repairs
Perform warranty work to manufacturer specifications
Qualifications
Entry-level experience preferred; eagerness to learn and grow required
Basic knowledge of automotive diagnostics electrical and engine repair preferred
Strong physical dexterity and ability to work with tools
Positive customer-focused attitude with strong communication skills
Punctual reliable and able to collaborate in a team environment
High school diploma or equivalent
Valid drivers license with a clean driving record
Basic computer skills
Willingness to learn new technology and procedures
Excellent customer service skills and a desire to grow in the automotive field
