Required:
- Bachelors degree in Biotechnology or similar
- Masters degree in Biomedicine or a related field
- Fluency in Catalan English and Spanish
Desired:
- Experimental MSc thesis working with cell cultures
Experience and knowledge:
Required:
- Proven experience in developing technical skills in different laboratories
- Experience in molecular biology (DNA/RNA purification RT-PCR Western blotting)
- Experience in cell culture
Desired:
- Experience in immunological techniques
- Good communication skills and fluency in spoken and written English
- Strong sense of responsibility critical thinking resourceful self-motivation teamwork and social skills as key personal abilities
Main responsibilities and duties:
- To contribute to the development of novel cell-based therapeutics in compliance with current quality and regulatory standards.
- To identify develop and apply a broad range of techniques to pursue the research objectives.
- To write/review/update records and/or SOPs plan/execute/analyse/report preclinical studies.
- Provide support to lab collaborators.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Keep track of scientific and technical advances in the field of stem cell research and therapy.
Labour conditions:
- Full-time position: 40h/week
- Starting date: immediate
- Gross annual salary: 22.82322 (Salary ranges are consistent with our Collective Agreement pay scale)
- Contract: Temporary (Next Generation funds)
