About this opportunity
DWR Retail is looking for an allocation analyst to join our corporate Planning and Allocation team. As an allocation analyst
you will optimize sales by store while balancing inventory.
What youll do:
Youll have opportunities to:
Allocate inventory to stores utilizing future sales forecasts store capacity and quantitative metrics including min/max and weeks of
supply.
Allocate merchandise and balance store inventory to maximize sales margin and inventory turn for DWR stores. Bring an
entrepreneurial mindset with the customer centered at the core of inventory decisions.
Collaborate with buying and visual teams on allocation strategy of launch seasonal and discontinued product. Make
recommendations of transfers between stores and to outlets for slow-moving discontinued inventory to maximize sell-through and
margin.
Collaborate with store teams to identify allocation opportunities. Analyze store feedback for validation and make recommendations
for future allocation strategies.
Ensure timely delivery of new floorsets and communicate status to cross-functional team and stores.
Partner with Merchandise Planners on future sales forecasts incorporating promotional lifts seasonality and constrained inventory
in replenishment models.
Partner with the distribution center providing a schedule of new floorset and new store opening priorities.
Performs additional responsibilities as requested to achieve business objectives.

Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience.
2-3 years of inventory management or allocation experience.
Passion for optimizing inventory ownership.
Strong analytical abilities and detail orientation.
A strong sense of ownership over work and results.
Team dynamic and willing to roll up your sleeves.
