The Opportunity

We are currently looking for an Ethics & Compliance Analyst to join our global Compliance Team. This position will be based in our Warsaw location.

This is an office-based position requiring daily presence in our office in Mokotow.

What Youll do:

  • Policy Implementation: Assists in the development implementation and management of compliance policies and procedures across the region. Assists in organizing and maintaining ethics and compliance records documents databases tools and facilitating the routing for approval of various business requests necessary forms and new and/or updated affiliate procedures including the interactions with third party service providers process.
  • Monitoring: Performs monitoring activities for the affiliates of the region to identify whether activities comply with policies and procedures. Develops and maintains transactional compliance metrics and monitor compliance trends/results and advise on remediation plans and corrective actions.
  • Training and Education: Develops creates awareness implements and tracks the completion of training & communication programs focusing on the Compliance Program Code of Business Conduct and other relevant policies and procedures across the region.
  • Compliance Support: Provides ethics and compliance advice within the region and assists in addressing compliance questions and counseling. Supports and communicates basic and routine OEC affiliate policy interpretation and requirements guidance and appropriate advice regarding any compliance matters.
  • Risk Management: Develops knowledge of Abbotts business areas to assist with the compliance risk assessment trend analysis and best practice recommendations. Effectively uses data analysis tools and problem-solving techniques to identify detail and prioritize the assessment of potential risks across the region.
  • Audit Support: Assists OEC leadership on compliance audits across the region specifically in the fulfillment of auditors requests by gathering information documentation and in assisting to audit findings remediation plans and corrective actions.
  • Other Projects: Assists on newly introduced projects on compliance matters as needed.

Required qualifications & background:

  • University degree required; regulatory quality or finance degree desirable.
  • Excellent proficiency in English both written and spoken.
  • Minimum 2 years of responsibility in compliance regulatory quality finance and/or risk management positions preferably in a multinational company.
  • Experience working in medical device or life sciences industry a strong plus.
  • Experienced with Microsoft Office suite including but not limited to Excel file management PowerPoint presentations.
  • Strong written and verbal skills and an ability to effectively communicate with colleagues.
  • Highly skilled at organizing and prioritizing.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Strong commitment to credibility and ethical behavior
  • Ability to collaborate effectively in a cross-country environment with diverse teams.
