Position is responsible for instructing secondary school students in social studies and creating a safe and orderly learning environment. Candidates must:Have knowledge of current Massachusetts Frameworks expectations for Reading and Writing across the collaborate with colleagues on curriculum lesson and assessment design as well as achieving departmental best practices for assessing student progress toward achievement of lessons with clear and measurable outcomes. Use of a wide variety of teaching techniques to support student and demonstrate differentiated instruction to meet the needs of all accommodations and curricular modifications as specified in educational plans (IEPs) and as needed to meet the learning needs of a variety of formal and informal assessments to accurately measure student progress toward and to modify further technology to support student learning in and out of the actively in faculty department and team professional development goals develop professional development plans and participate in professional development activities that improve teaching practiceCommunicate effectively with all all school policies and rules governing students.
