Description
Were looking for an experienced Accounting Manager to lead our accounting operations in a hybrid role. This position will play a critical part in streamlining our accounting processes using Workamajig which we rely on to automate workflows and provide the reporting insights our firm needs. Youll oversee day-to-day accounting activities including monthly client billing and vendor payments. The ideal candidate isdetail-oriented systems-savvy and excited to be part of a collaborative and people-first company!
Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations including accounts payable accounts receivable general ledger and reconciliations
- Oversee client billing on a monthly cycle and ensure accurate timely invoicing
- Process and track bills from software and service subscriptions
- Monitor and manage company credit card transactions
- Utilize Workamajig to automate processes improve reporting and support overall efficiency
- Prepare financial reports for leadership including monthly and quarterly summaries
- Ensure proper internal controls and support compliance requirements
- Collaborate with leadership on budgeting forecasting and process improvements
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or related field
- 5 years of accounting experience; prior experience in a leadership role preferred
- Proficiency with Workamajig is a plus
- Strong understanding of billing processes and vendor management
- Excellent attention to detail organization and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication and collaboration in a hybrid work environment
