Job Description
Position Overview
We are seeking a Security Automation Engineer to join the eBusiness Security Access Gateway team. This role focuses on automating security services and infrastructure by developing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and Configuration as Code (CaC). You will streamline deployments reduce manual processes improve CI/CD pipelines and enhance resiliency against incidents such as ransomware attacks.
You will collaborate with engineers product managers and business analysts to design secure authentication authorization and web gateway/API services. The goal: enable faster more secure and no-touch deployments that improve system health reduce errors and accelerate time to market.
Key Responsibilities
- Design develop and maintain automation code for Access Management Services.
- Build and enhance CI/CD pipelines to support Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and Configuration as Code (CaC).
- Automate deployments of IBM Security Products and related services.
- Integrate system monitoring incident creation and ServiceNow for streamlined workflows.
- Develop automated health checks self-healing features and error-reduction processes.
- Ensure all changes are captured in source control to strengthen change management practices.
- Share knowledge within the team and contribute to continuous process improvement.
