Job Summary

This vacancy is open to employees of Isle of Wight NHS Trust and Portsmouth Hospitals University NHS Trust only.

Band 6: 38682 - 46580 

Permanent contract

Full time: 37.5 hours

As part of the Software Delivery and Automation Team as Automation Developer your role will focus on developing robotic process automations for Portsmouth and the Isle of Wight. 

You will contribute both independently and collaboratively to achieve well-tested RPA and PowerPlatform Apps. You will assist with system maintenance end-user support and investigate functional problems using methodologies like Scrum and SPRINT.

You will proactively and positively contribute to the achievement of deliverables through individual and team effort. Manage the production of the required deliverables and control risks. You will support team members to deliver on their functionally relevant objectives through offering advice guidance and support as appropriate. There will be elements of ensuring that approved budgets are spent effectively and in accordance with agreed procedures.

Qualifications :

Qualifications Criteria

Essential 

  • Degree level education/qualification or equivalent in ICT or related field
  • Continuous improvement experience
  • An understanding of RPA & PowerPlatform Apps best practice delivery

Desirable

  • Experience of system management and support
  • RPA & PowerPlatform design experience
  • Experience of NHS practices and information
