Job Description

We are seeking a skilled RAN Network Performance Engineer with hands-on experience in the telecom industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring analyzing and optimizing the performance of Radio Access Networks (2G/3G/4G/5G) to ensure high-quality service delivery and enhanced customer experience. This role requires strong technical expertise in RAN performance KPIs optimization techniques and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

Monitor and analyze RAN performance KPIs (availability accessibility retainability throughput mobility etc.).
Perform regular performance reporting and trend analysis to detect and resolve degradations.
Conduct parameter audits tuning and optimization to improve coverage capacity and quality of service.
Support network expansion upgrades and feature implementation (LTE/5G NR).
Collaborate with planning engineering and field teams to resolve network issues.
Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for performance degradations and recommend corrective actions.
Ensure compliance with telecom standards and SLA requirements.

Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Telecommunications Electrical Computer Engineering or related field.
5 years of RAN performance/optimization experience in the telecom industry.
Hands-on experience with RAN vendors (Ericsson Nokia Huawei etc.).
Strong understanding of LTE and 5G architecture features and protocols.
Proficiency with network monitoring and optimization tools (OSS TEMS Actix NPA etc.).
Strong analytical troubleshooting and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

Experience with scripting (Python SQL VBA) for reporting and automation.
Familiarity with VoLTE/VoNR carrier aggregation Massive MIMO optimization.
Exposure to virtualized/cloud RAN (vRAN Open RAN).
