Job Description
We are looking for an enthusiastic and skilled AWS DevOps Engineer with approximately 3 years of experience to help us design implement and maintain secure scalable cloud infrastructure and DevOps processes. You will play a key role in automating workflows supporting containerized applications and ensuring efficient software delivery.
Requirements
Responsibilities
- Automation: Automate processes across the development lifecycle including infrastructure provisioning configuration management and monitoring.
- Container Orchestration: Manage and deploy containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes (AWS EKS & GKE).
- Cloud Management: Manage cloud infrastructure on AWS Azure and GCP to ensure scalability security and cost-efficiency.
CI/CD Pipeline: Design implement and maintain Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines for efficient software delivery. - Collaboration: Work closely with development QA and operations teams to align on goals troubleshoot issues and optimize processes.
- Monitoring & Performance: Implement monitoring solutions to ensure system reliability availability and performance. Conduct regular performance assessments and optimizations.
- Security: Integrate security best practices into the DevOps lifecycle ensuring that all systems are secure and compliant with industry standards.
- Mentorship: Mentor and train junior team members fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Incident Management: Lead incident response efforts and root cause analysis ensuring swift resolution and prevention of future issues.
- SDLC Knowledge: Apply strong knowledge of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) to improve delivery and reliability.
Primary SkillSets
- 3 years of hands-on experience in AWS cloud environments.
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes (AWS EKS GKE).
- Proficiency in Infrastructure-as-Code tools (Terraform CloudFormation Ansible).
- Experience in CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins GitHub Actions GitLab CI or AWS CodePipeline).
- Solid understanding of Linux administration networking and security concepts.
- Hands-on experience with monitoring and logging tools (CloudWatch ELK Prometheus Grafana).
- Working knowledge of at least one scripting language (Bash Python PowerShell).
- Familiarity with software development practices version control (Git) and Agile methodologies.
Preferred Skills
- Exposure to multi-cloud environments (AWS Azure GCP).
- Experience with serverless architectures (AWS Lambda API Gateway).
- Familiarity with DevSecOps principles.
- Experience with cost optimization in cloud infrastructure.
