Position : Manager/Senior Manager Quality

Job Location : Ahmedabad

One of the leading automotive manufacturer supplying a variety of EPDM Rubber parts like Sealing Systems hoses & moldings to International OEMs like VW Ford M&M Bajaj Auto & Nissan. The company has been TS 16949 & ISO 14001 certified for last 3 years. The company has 2 multinational Joint Ventures for manufacture and supply to Indian and international OEMs. The company is on a strong growth path looking for young & enthusiastic professionals to drive the company forward

Job Requirement:

Exp. 8 to 12 years of experience in automotive quality with at least 3 5 years in a managerial role.

Qualification: Bachelors degree in mechanical/Automobile/Industrial Engineering (preferred)

Job Description:

Manage the team of Quality Engineers and Executives to achieve pre-defined quality targets.

Must have excellent knowledge about automotive QS-Systems/IATF/ TS16949 systems for automotive process Inspection Rejection Analysis Customer complaints Process Set up.
Experienced certified auditor in IATF/TS16949 and ISO 9001
Min 10 years experience in Quality/ production of rubber parts and process analysis.
Knowledge about PFMEA FMEA DOE etc Root Cause analysis 7 QC tools etc to lead the team in problem solving.
Experienced in Project Quality (New Project Development) including implementing cost effective strategies Techno - commercial discussions and negotiations inspections & approvals including full Project execution activities strategic planning Client Coordination Knowledge about PPAP SPC MSA TPM MMA Gauge R&R and other statistical tools to train and implement within all functions.
Should be able for Implementation and upgrading of exisiting QS-Systems.
Ensure all audit activities are carried out as per plan. Product Audit Internal Audit Process Audits
Excellent experience in audit preparation and customer audits from OEMs like VW Ford Nissan and M&M.
Will be the Customer contact for all quality issues.
0 PPM target of In-house & customers.
Experienced in dealing with quality complaints and customer rejects using G8D methodology.
Interface between customer and operative quality of production.
Responsible for product released from customer side.
Incharge of the entire Quality Team.
Responsible for Supplier Development(SQA for New projects)
Utilization of FISH BONE DIG why-why analysis & 7QC tools to reduce In-house rejection.
Implementation of Kaizens & motivate teams to make Kaizen improvements.
Performance Metrics (KPIs):
Customer PPM levels
Audit scores (customer & certification)
COPQ (Cost of Poor Quality) reduction
Supplier quality performance
Internal rejection/rework levels
Timely closure of customer complaints & NCRsDesired Profile:

Desired Profile

Must be a Self-motivated team player to improve overall QA performance
Should be very familiar with MS-Office Email Excel & Minitab
Good English knowledge written and oral
Very good communication and conflict management skills
Must have Strong leadership skills
Ability to travel domestic and international
Experience in Auto Industry for min 10 years is a must and preferred in Rubber commodity.
Experienced in dealing with international OEM requirements.
