High Level Position Summary:
The Enovis Enabling Technology Team is searching for an individual interested in contributing on a team tasked with developing new software based medical devices to improve on the mission of health care professionals. We are searching for an experienced Project Manager who is responsible for day-to-day software based medical device development. The Enabling Tech Project Manager will coordinate multiple development teams across multiple time zones and countries. The position involves technical leadership project management and team leadership. This individual should be highly motivated and ready to contribute to the success of the team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate the creation and maintenance of product user needs and requirements
- Plan software based medical device releases to meet business milestones
- Facilitate Review triage and closure of Jira tickets
- Ensure software team effectiveness and remove impediments that block progress
- Track products and software release metrics and provide updates to the organization
- Create and Manage project scope schedule resources activities budget and communication plans
- Create budget and schedule estimates for change requests
- Facilitate the Agile Product Development Process
- Facilitate Risk Management activities
- Monitor Software Development Life Cycle process adherence
- Contribute to the maintenance and improvement of our Software Development Life Cycle
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement transparency and high quality
Minimum Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering required Computer or Electrical Engineering preferred;
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Software Project Manager
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior project management experience developing software-based products
- Experience in agile critical roles such as having led Sprint Planning Scrum Sprint Review and Retrospectives
- Experience leveraging IEC 62304 and IEC 62366
- Experience with medical device design history files and regional regulatory requirements
- Experience with Jira project tracking software is strongly preferred
- Experience with software architectural design
- Experience with embedded software developed in Electro-Mechanical Systems
- Experience with automatic code generation
- Experience with SW based requirements management tools
- Experience with SW based automated test tools
Location: Austin; 25% Travel both domestic and international. Must hold or be able to obtain a valid passport.
