Intimidating tactics time-consuming customer service and a one-size-fits-all approach that overlooks the reasons anyone can fall into debt in the first place. Meanwhile businesses suffer too. Poor customer experience translates to poor customer satisfaction high churn rates bad brand reputation and ultimately missed opportunities.

Thats why were taking a radically different approach. Pioneering an industry-first AI-native collections platform we build products that help individuals clear their debts in a way that suits them whilst providing businesses with an improved customer experience and game-changing insights into their customer base.

Since our launch in 2021 weve worked with some of the UKs leading companies including Octopus Scottish Power and Philips helping millions of people move toward a more stable debt-free 2023 we were acquired by Intrum Europes biggest credit management service and have begun the next phase in our growth expansion into 17 European markets over the next two years.

Project Manager (PMO)

We are seeking a highly structured and analytical Project Manager to drive company-wide initiatives market launches and strategic projects at Ophelos. This role sits at the heart of our operations ensuring critical projects are well-planned delivered on time and aligned with business priorities. You will work closely with leadership and stakeholders across product engineering operations and commercial teams to deliver outcomes that support Ophelos growth and mission.

Key Responsibilities

PMO Markets expansion

  • Own the planning execution and monitoring of strategic projects and market launches across the company
  • Establish and maintain PMO frameworks tools and reporting standards to improve execution discipline
  • Translate strategic objectives into structured project plans with clear milestones owners and success metrics
  • Drive alignment and accountability across cross-functional stakeholders at all levels of the organisation
  • Anticipate risks dependencies and blockers and implement mitigation strategies proactively
  • Deliver high-quality communication materials (status updates executive reports steering committee packs)
  • Support leadership in prioritisation and resource planning for company-wide initiatives
  • Promote a culture of structured execution and continuous improvement across teams

Strategic Support

  • Assist leadership team with data collection analysis and preparation of internal reporting or board materials
  • Contribute to identifying business priorities based on internal bottlenecks team feedback or data insights

Experience

  • 4 years of project management experience preferably in fintech SaaS or a generalist operations strategy or cross-functional role at a startup / high-growth company
  • Proven track record of managing complex projects end-to-end with complex stakeholder structure
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills; highly structured and detail-oriented.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to build trust and credibility with senior stakeholders
  • Experience with tools (such as Google Suite Asana Notion) and basic data skills (e.g. Spreadsheets/Excel dashboards)
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to simplify complex technical concepts
  • Experience supporting or managing operational delivery across multiple markets or regulatory environments is a plus
