In this role youll be responsible for all aspects of this large operation with responsibility for Harlow as well as 2 smaller sites at Thetford and Brighton leading the depots to deliver the required service levels to delight our customers managing resources and budgets to enable growth whilst optimising efficiencies and driving improvements to key metrics and KPIs by embedding a continuous improvement culture. Naturally collaborative you will work closely with commercial colleagues to drive regional profitable growth and with other operational leaders to share and learn from best practice and implement new technologies and ways of working.
An inspirational leader you will cultivate an environment of health and safety connection diversity and inclusion enabling all team members to reach their full potential and will work closely with your direct reports to build high performing and engaged teams - developing a pipeline of great future leaders.
To join us as the General Manager you will have previous leadership experience in a fast-paced operation and have strong operational knowledge of either warehousing or distribution ideally within the FMCG sector.
Youll be a forward-thinking individual and an effective change manager who demonstrates resilience credibility and composure under pressure. Youll be commercially astute; results driven and detail orientated - using data to support your decision making.
