Astemos Internal Combustion Engine (ICE) Business Unit expertise includes various powertrain products which can be supplied as stand-alone components or as an integrated system for the ICE powertrain. These high-performance and cost-effective next generation technology solutions help reduce vehicle emissions and enhance performance while leading to a more sustainable future of mobility.

Position Summary:

This position will be part of the ICE Business Unit Sales group and will be responsible for driving revenue growth and expanding market presence. This role involves developing and executing sales strategies managing key client relationships and collaborating cross-functionally to align sales goals with overall business objectives. The ideal candidate is a results-driven professional with deep industry knowledge exceptional leadership skills and a passion for building scalable sales operations within the North American region.

This position offers opportunities to work with a wide variety of aspects of the sales process including the development of additional business opportunities with our existing customer base as well as developing new customers and opportunities through the North American region. This position will interact with a wide variety of departments and levels of management within the company both domestic and international. Essential functions of this job include:

  • Development and lead the implementation of ICE BU sales department strategies and policies supporting the mission and expectations of increased sales for the North American region.
  • Support objectives and goal from the corporate ICE BU and sales group perspectives for continuous future development growth and improvement of the company overall.
  • Maintain updated knowledge and familiarity with products relevant manufacturing processes and professional rapport with staff.
  • Solicit input from customers regarding quality/delivery issues in order to improve internal continuous improvement.
  • Review program time frames funding limitations project procedures and allotment of available resources for all phases of project and report issues or needs.
  • Coordinate monitor and expedite the audit of sales documents and processes to ensure compliance with all TS16949 standards.
  • May serve as sales department contact for company CSR volunteerism and committee affiliations.
  • Will prepare departmental support tasks such as presentations meetings supplies recordings budgets visitor direction etc.
  • Consistently use exceptional customer service skills and work with all levels of staff and maintain strict confidentiality of information.
  • Maintain a safe workplace and follow all regulations and requirements related to safety and environmental compliance.

Minimum Qualifications (Education Experience and Skills):

  • 4 Year College Degree in Business Marketing Sales Management or Engineering with 5 10 years of sales lead experience.
  • Demonstrated high level of organization detail oriented with a proven success within the automotive industry.
  • Demonstrated fluent English verbal communication strong initiative / motivation and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to accurately document / analyze / communicate various types of data & information and utilize to develop and implement long-term sales strategies.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal direction.
  • Automotive related experience.
  • Have practical work experience with ICE Engines.
  • High level of customer interface.

Preferred Qualifications (Education Experience and Skills):

  • Possess MBA in Management or Sales Management.
  • Have a second language proficiency e.g. Japanese.

Essential to Job Functions Physical and/or Mental Restrictions:

  • Ability to work for long periods of time while sitting or standing
  • Visual ability to work accurately with detailed information and a computer screen.
  • The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
  • Have the ability to work 40-60 hours per week as required.

Software:

  • Intermediate experience required in Windows MSWord PowerPoint and Excel
