We are seeking a Recruiter to join the HR team and directly support the organizations ambitious hiring needs. Reporting to the HR Director this role will partner closely with hiring managers to manage 2040 requisitions at a time across diverse functions including engineering (mechanical electrical) construction IT commissioning and skilled trades.
This individual will lead the full recruiting lifecycle from sourcing and screening to closing candidates. They will also provide support in compliance (OFCCP state job boards) and onboarding. This is a high-urgency environment ideal for someone who thrives on juggling multiple priorities and has the ability to pivot quickly.
Location: Ashburn VA (onsite MondayThursday; remote on Fridays)
Compensation: $65000 $95000

Key Responsibilities
Recruiting & Talent Acquisition
- Manage 2040 requisitions simultaneously across a variety of technical and non-technical roles.
- Partner with hiring managers to understand role requirements and deliver top talent quickly.
- Source passive candidates through creative outreach strategies; build strong talent pipelines.
- Screen interview and manage candidates through the hiring process ensuring strong closing skills.
- Oversee relationships with staffing agencies ensuring submissions are routed through the ATS and processes are followed.
Compliance & Administration
- Manage OFCCP/government contractor compliance requirements including veteran hiring holds and multi-state job board postings.
- Partner with the companys third-party vendor to ensure accurate and timely postings in 26 states.
- Support vendor management and enforce ATS processes to ensure candidate ownership clarity.
Onboarding & HR Support
- Serve as backup support for onboarding and orientation activities.
- Attend and assist with bi-weekly orientation classes welcoming and guiding new hires.
Qualifications
- 3 years of recruiting experience preferably with staffing agency background (urgency multitasking and closing skills strongly valued).
- Experience working with an ATS (Paycor experience a plus).
- Knowledge of OFCCP/government contracting compliance preferred (training available).
- Proven ability to source passive candidates and manage multiple requisitions in a high-volume fast-changing environment.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to balance multiple stakeholders (hiring managers vendors candidates).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; confident phone presence required.
- Ability to close candidates by selling opportunities beyond compensation.
