Reporting to the Engineering Manager our fabulous team in Slough are looking to recruit a hands-on Engineering Team Leader. This role will involve supervising a team of 3 Engineers to ensure the delivery of effective engineering support and maintenance preventing breakdowns from happening.
You will be required to work on a rotating shift pattern 5 on 4 off 5 on 5 off 4 on 5 off the 5 off always includes a weekend. You will be working both day and night shifts.
Your new role:
Managing motivating and mentoring the engineering team on site in line with KPI and budgetary targets ensuring the team delivers effective fault diagnosis and repairs to support a demanding operational environment;
Managing any contractor activity on site liaising directly with engineering suppliers;
Ensuring all equipment operates to the required outputs through the planning and execution of preventative maintenance activities;
Ensuring standards are maintained for all work carried out and appropriate records are completed and signed-off.
What do I need to apply
We are looking for candidates who hold an NVQ Level 3 in Electrical and Mechanical Engineering and/or have completed an apprenticeship (mechanical/electrical/control skills) with an electrical terms of work background we are looking for candidates who have engineering experience in a high-speed/volume manufacturing or production-type environment; FMCG and of managing motivating and mentoring a small team. If you have any network experience that would be beneficial.
In addition you will need to possess strong IT skills have a good command of written and spoken English are self-driven and have high standards. You will also need eligibility to work in the UK.
