Job Overview
We are seeking a Production Incharge for our Home Textile unit in Karur. This full-time mid-level position requires a professional with 4 to 6 years of work experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the production process ensuring quality standards and managing the production team to meet organizational goals.
Qualifications and Skills
- Production planning experience with the ability to organize and streamline production processes efficiently (Mandatory skill).
- Proven expertise in quality control ensuring that all products meet or exceed quality standards (Mandatory skill).
- Experience in team management capable of leading and motivating a production team to achieve high performance (Mandatory skill).
- Strong skills in inventory management maintaining optimal stock levels to support production needs.
- Experience in process improvement with a focus on driving enhancements in production efficiency and effectiveness.
- Proficiency in resource allocation optimizing the use of materials labor and equipment to maximize output.
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written for effective collaboration and reporting across departments.
- Comprehensive understanding of the raw yarn to delivery production process ensuring seamless operational flow.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Oversee the complete production process from raw yarn to finished product to meet production targets and quality standards.
- Develop and implement production plans and schedules in collaboration with the production team and other departments.
- Monitor production processes daily to ensure efficiency and adhere to company standards.
- Conduct regular quality checks to ensure compliance with quality standards and rectify any deviations.
- Coordinate with inventory management to maintain optimal stock levels and prevent production delays.
- Lead and coach the production team fostering a positive work environment that encourages continuous improvement.
- Prepare and maintain production reports and documentation for management review.
- Identify areas for process improvements and implement strategies to enhance productivity and quality.
