Job Summary
Primary Title: Remote Data Entry Intern
A growing player in the Fashion & Apparel e-commerce (D2C) sector serving online retail customers across India. We manage digital product catalogs order records and customer data to deliver a seamless shopping experienceseeking a remote data-entry intern to support catalog order and CRM operations.
Role & Responsibilities
- Accurately enter and update product information SKUs prices and inventory data in the catalog and internal databases.
- Process order records and update shipment/status fields in the CRM or order-management system.
- Perform routine data-cleaning tasks: identify duplicates fix formatting and validate entries against source documents.
- Support weekly reporting by extracting datasets preparing simple spreadsheets and flagging discrepancies to supervisors.
- Follow documented data-handling procedures and maintain confidentiality of customer and business information.
- Collaborate with operations and merchandising teams to resolve data issues and ensure accuracy across systems.
Skills & Qualifications
Must-Have
- Currently enrolled in or recently completed undergraduate studies (any discipline) or equivalent practical experience.
- Reliable high-speed internet and ability to work from home during agreed hours.
- Strong attention to detail with demonstrated accuracy in data-entry tasks.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets for basic formulas and filtering.
- Comfortable using web-based CRMs or order-management interfaces.
- Ability to commit to part-time remote hours and meet deadlines consistently.
Preferred
- Prior internship or coursework involving e-commerce data catalog management or order processing.
- Familiarity with basic data-validation techniques and spreadsheet automation (filters conditional formatting).
- Exposure to platforms such as Zoho Shopify admin or Airtable.
