About the Role
We are looking for a motivated and skilled Production & Maintenance Engineer to oversee production activities and ensure smooth operation of equipment and machinery.
The ideal candidate should have strong technical knowledge a problem-solving mindset and experience in preventive maintenance process optimization and quality improvement.
You will play a key role in improving productivity minimizing downtime and ensuring efficient use of resources.
Key Responsibilities
Production Responsibilities:
Plan coordinate and monitor production processes to meet targets and deadlines.
Ensure that production operations comply with quality standards and safety guidelines.
Analyze production data and suggest process improvements for higher efficiency.
Coordinate with the quality and design teams for product and process validation.
Monitor material usage and support in inventory control.
Maintain daily production reports and ensure documentation accuracy.
Maintenance Responsibilities:
Perform routine inspections preventive and corrective maintenance of machinery.
Identify faults and troubleshoot mechanical electrical or automation issues.
Maintain a record of equipment maintenance schedules and service reports.
Ensure minimum machine downtime by effective maintenance planning.
Implement and monitor 5S TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) or other best practices.
Coordinate with vendors or service engineers for repairs or spare parts management.
Required Skills
Strong understanding of mechanical electrical or industrial engineering systems.
Knowledge of PLC automation and production line machinery is an advantage.
Hands-on experience in troubleshooting and problem-solving.
Familiarity with lean manufacturing / Kaizen / TPM concepts.
Good analytical leadership and communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Computer proficiency in MS Office and basic maintenance software.
Educational Qualification
Preferred Experience
Experience in manufacturing plant operations or maintenance departments.
Exposure to preventive maintenance breakdown analysis and production planning.
Knowledge of safety standards and maintenance documentation.
