Job Summary

Bachelors/ Masters degree in Computer Science Information Systems or related field.
12 years of experience as an SQL Developer or Data Engineer with strong hands-on experience in Snowflake.
Proficiency in writing advanced SQL queries involving joins aggregations window functions and subqueries.
In-depth understanding of Snowflake stages (user internal external) and file handling with AWS S3.
Experience building stored procedures in Snowflake using JavaScript.
Strong understanding of Change Data Capture (CDC) concepts and implementation strategies.
Familiarity with handling semi-structured data types (e.g. VARIANT) and JSON data in Snowflake.
Demonstrated ability to think through problems such as handling CDC without a timestamp or flag.
Proficiency in data modeling schema design and performance tuning.
Strong communication skills and ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

Snowflake Certification.
Experience with tools like DBT Airflow or Fivetran.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control (Git).
Knowledge of Python or another scripting language.
Experience with BI tools like Tableau Power BI or Looker.
