Given our substantial growth in the Japanese market MaloneBailey LLP seeks an Audit Senior Manager or Audit Manager to lead and oversee the audit practice in our Tokyo office. The ideal candidate for this partner-track position is a Big 4 Audit Senior Manager or Audit Manager who would like to relocate to Tokyo and assume a leadership role for a fast-growing audit business in Japan. MaloneBailey LLP is a U.S.-based audit firm and offers very competitive salaries and compensation. Knowledge of US GAAP and PCAOB auditing standards is a plus but not a requirement. Major Responsibilities & Duties:
Adhere to the highest degree of professional standards and strict client confidentiality.
Collaborate to plan objectives and strategies on multiple audit engagements and appropriately address risk.
Plan execute and complete financial statements audits in a wide variety of industries.
Maintain communication with clients to set expectations and ensure that deadlines are met as well as develop long-term relationships.
Monitor team progress and hours allocation and alter accordingly while maintaining cooperative relationships.
Review all work before submission to Audit Partner for further review.
Use experiences gained to continually learn share knowledge with team members and enhance service delivery.
Maintain an educational program to continually develop skills for self and staff.
Perform other duties as necessary.
Requirements & Qualifications:
The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications:
An audit senior manager or audit manager at a national accounting firm in Japan or Big Four firm in Japan or the United States.
Fluent oral and written skills in both Japanese and English.
Willing to relocate to Tokyo and eligible to work in Japan.
Demonstrated supervisory experience with strong communication and excellent client and project management skills.
In-depth knowledge of IFRS.
Knowledge of US GAAP and PCAOB auditing standards is preferred but not required.
Excellent project management analytical interpersonal oral and written communication skills.
Strong leadership training and mentoring skills.

Education and Licenses
Bachelors degree in accounting or related field.
Bachelors degree in any field AND a masters degree in accounting.
JICPA certification (active) required.
