The opportunity : Senior Analyst-National-Forensics-ASU - Forensics - Investigations & Compliance - Gurgaon
Your key responsibilities
Technical Excellence
Understanding and implementing forensic imaging processes for devices such as laptops desktops and mobiles.
Validation and analysis of findings in investigative matters to develop fact-based technical conclusions.
Coordination with lead investigators to ascertain the relevance of information derived from both internal and external sources related to digital forensic inquiries.
Follow up with relevant stakeholders for information gathering and document collection as per client guidelines.
Maintain and update internal databases with findings and progress on investigations.
Ensure timely closure of forensic investigations and reporting as per defined timelines.
Collaborate with other departments as necessary to facilitate the closure of investigations.
Strong analytical skills to assess and interpret complex data.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
Focused and target-oriented approach to tasks and responsibilities.
Skills and attributes
To qualify for the role you must have
Qualification
Education:
Masters degree in computer science or a related field.
Experience:
1 years of experience in one or more of the following:
Understanding of ESI data investigation forensic tools and methodologies including log correlation and analysis forensically handling electronic data and knowledge of the computer security investigative processes.
Analysis of electronically stored information.
Experience with forensic tools such as Encase Reveal FTK Intella Axiom UFED Physical Analyser and Oxygen.
Knowledge of forensic hardware such as Tableau write blockers UFED Touch 2 and disk imagers.
Familiarity with the Microsoft environment (Exchange SharePoint).
Certification Requirements:
Candidates must hold or be actively pursuing related professional certifications such as Security EnCE CHFI and ISO 27001.
Preferences:
Certifications in the mobile forensics area.
Experience
1 to 2 Years
Forensic imaging of devices (laptops desktops mobiles)
ESI data investigation and analysis
Use of forensic tools (Encase Reveal FTK Intella Axiom UFED Physical Analyser Oxygen)
Knowledge of forensic hardware (Tableau write blockers UFED Touch 2 disk imagers)
Familiarity with Microsoft environment (Exchange SharePoint)
