Job Description:
The ideal candidate will have solid experience in adjudicating both major and minor life claims including high-net-worth medical claims. This role requires strong technical knowledge sound judgment and a commitment to delivering fair and timely claim decisions.
Responsibilities
- Assess and adjudicate life critical illness and medical claims in accordance with policy terms and regulatory guidelines
- Liaise with medical professionals reinsurers and internal stakeholders to gather necessary documentation
- Communicate claim decisions clearly and professionally to clients and intermediaries
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of claims
- Support continuous improvement of claims processes and systems
- Provide guidance to junior claims staff
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Insurance Business Administration Nursing or related field
- Minimum 5 years of life claims experience
- Strong understanding of life insurance claims including death disability critical illness accident and medical claims
- Experience handling high-net-worth medical claims
- Professional certifications in insurance or medical underwriting are an advantage
- Ability to interpret medical reports and legal documentation
- Excellent analytical and decision-making abilities
- Fluency in English; proficiency in Mandarin or Cantonese is a plus
- Effective communication and negotiation skills
- Familiarity with claims systems and workflow tools
- High level of integrity and discretion
