Im supporting a growing biopharmaceutical manufacturer in their search for a Head of Facilities & Engineering. This role will be a key leadership position responsible for ensuring the efficient compliant and safe operation of the companys production facilities and equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop annual plans for equipment engineering and production safety and oversee their implementation to ensure stable and efficient operations.

• Lead maintenance planning for facilities and production equipment supervise daily operations minimize downtime and ensure production continuity.

• Oversee equipment lifecycle: selection procurement installation commissioning and qualification ensuring alignment with GMP and EHS standards.

• Establish and manage equipment records technical documentation and spare parts inventory; promote the adoption of digital management systems.

• Partner with Production R&D and Quality to optimize processequipment compatibility and efficiency while ensuring rapid response to customer requirements.

• Build and enhance the EHS management system conduct safety supervision and training foster a zero-incident culture and reduce operational risk.

What Were Looking For

• Proven leadership experience in engineering facilities or equipment management within biopharmaceuticals chemicals or related industries.

• Strong knowledge of GMP EHS regulations ISO standards and familiarity with FDA or other global regulatory requirements.

• Excellent planning execution and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage complex projects.

• Bonus: Experience in site planning or large-scale plant construction projects in the biopharma sector.
