Position Overview
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking Medical Assistant for an exciting local job in Cincinnati OH.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist physicians during patient examinations and treatments.
- Record vital signs update medical histories and maintain EMR documentation.
- Prepare and maintain exam rooms ensuring cleanliness and adequate supplies.
- Perform clinical procedures such as vaccinations phlebotomy EKGs and diagnostic testing.
- Schedule patient appointments manage check-in/check-out and handle pre-certifications.
- Process medication refills prior authorizations and coordinate with pharmacies and insurance providers.
- Ensure compliance with patient confidentiality and healthcare regulations.
- Deliver compassionate patient support fostering a positive experience.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program.
- Minimum of 2 years experience in a clinical setting.
- BLS certification required; CMA or RMA certification preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and EMR systems.
- Strong organizational multitasking and communication skills.
