Job Summary

PURCHASING PLANNER

KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Guide production planning activities ranging from developing and revising production schedules forecasting trends and customer demand.

Estimating the amount of material equipment and labour required for production.

Coordination of production operations in accordance with material labour and equipment availability.

Coordination of parts delivery to expedite flow of material to meet production schedule

Support purchasing in decision on expediting or postponing suppliers purchase orders if required

Recommending viable solutions to reduce production costs as well as improve production processes and product quality.

Compiling status and performance reports and submitting them to management in a timely manner.

Promptly informing the relevant departments of changes to current production schedules.

Obtain output information (number of finished products percentage of defectives etc.)

Collaboration with quality control warehouse and other staff

Development and management of all types of inventory from finish goods WIP (work in process) to raw material.

Analysis of performance through KPIs and recommend supply chain action items to the executive management team.

Utilization MRP systems to coordinate requirements to meet production schedules while minimizing inventory.

Tracking KPIs such as forecast accuracy fill rates etc.

Monitoring material supply flow and identifying any shortages or bottlenecks in usage

Identification and resolving problems relating to inventory

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:

1-2 years of experience in a similar position

Ability to coordinate production workflow

Structured approach and great coordination skills

Analytical mind with attention to details (data analysis)

Self-reliance and collaboration skills

Fluent Polish; proficient English

Experience in working with ERP systems

Excellent knowledge of MS Excel

Basic knowledge of Power Query and Power BI (creating reports)

Basic knowledge of VBA

SQL knowledge (advantage)
