Ready to kickstart your career in supply chain planning and gain hands-on experience managing a dynamic product portfolio We are looking for an ambitious and analytical Junior Demand Planner to join our team.
In this high-growth role you will be the key analytical support for the Demand Planning function. You will learn to utilize planning tools assist in driving the forecast consensus process and directly collaborate with Business Go-To-Market and Product Management teams. This position is perfect for someone with 1 years of experience who is eager to master the fundamentals of forecasting inventory management and seamless New Product Introductions (NPIs).
What Youll Do (Key Responsibilities)
S&OP Cycle Support: Assist the Senior Demand Planner in preparing data materials and initial analysis for the weekly/monthly Sales & Operations Planning process for your assigned product technology.
Forecast Generation: Learn and utilize statistical models and forward-looking market inputs to contribute to generating and publishing the weekly demand forecast.
Performance Metrics: Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) like Forecast Accuracy and volatility providing reports that help the team understand and achieve overall revenue inventory and delivery targets.
Strategic Support: Assist in the quarterly review of portfolio segmentation and provide analytical support for determining optimal safety stock levels.
Supply Collaboration: Work in close alignment with the Supply Planning/Business Operations/Sales learning how to align demand forecasts with current material capacity and constraints.
System Integrity: Maintain accurate data within planning systems to ensure forecast and inventory accuracy.
1 year of professional experience in supply chain inventory or demand planning.
University degree in Supply Chain Management Economics Industrial Engineering Finance or an equivalent field.
First-class communication and presentation skills in English with the ability to clearly articulate complex planning scenarios to diverse stakeholders.
Strong analytical skills and exceptional attention to detail.
Advanced knowledge of MS Excel is required (including creating and presenting quantitative summarized data via pivot tables and graphs).
A positive proactive attitude towards continuous improvement solid time management and the ability to work effectively without continuous supervision.
A Plus If You Have:
Experience with Oracle and/or Demantra planning modules or other significant MRP/Advanced Planning Systems.
Familiarity with data visualization and query tools such as Tableau and SQL.
A solid understanding of basic Supply Chain principles beyond planning (e.g. logistics procurement).
