About Organization
IP & Transport Eng. & Ops Department of Rakuten Mobile is responsible for complete strategy design implementation automation and operations of network for providing connectivity/value added services including Mobile & Enterprise customers.
Job Duties
The Strategy and Architecture Section is responsible for
Strategize and design of IP & Optics Network
Manage Product life cycle management for network
Develop and maintain automation required for deployment and planning team
Vendor management for new product and solutions.
IP Strategy team within Strategy and Architecture section is crucial for setting path forward for IP network evolution introduction new features solutions to fulfill business need and help improve customer experience.
Primary role would be to Design Validate Implement and Support the IP Transport Network this role you will help build the next generation IPv6 transport network. Thisincludescollaborating with internal and external stake holders to craft solutions.
Minimum Qualifications
10 years of experience in the Networking Industry or large-scale Enterprise networks.
Strong knowledge of routing and switching protocols and Network Architecture.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Effective communication and collaboration skills.
Good understanding of TCP/IP DNS DHCP and Wireshark.
Expert level of understanding inrouting protocols such as MP-BGP ISIS & OSPF.
Good Knowledge of IPv6 SRv6 MPLS EVNP QoS.
Configure and troubleshoot routing protocols (ISIS OSPF MP-BGP MPLS SR etc.)
Optimism the network performance and ensure high availability.
Collaborate with other teams to ensure seamless integration with other systems.
Troubleshoot network issues with SoC & TAC teams.
Hands-on experience on ASR NCS and Nexus devices.
Preferred Qualifications
Certification in routing (CCNP CCIE-ENT/SP/JNCIE-SP etc.)
Knowledge and hands-on experience in SRv6.
Experience with Network Automation and scripting (Python Ansible etc.)
Languages:
English (Overall - 3 - Advanced) Japanese (Overall - 4 - Fluent)Required Experience:
