Title: Purchasing Assistant
Pay Rate or Salary Range: $22.00/hr.
Employment Type: Contract 1 year
Est. End Date: April 20 2026
Schedule: Full-Time 1st Shift (6:00 AM 2:30 PM Monday Friday)

Tekberry is looking for a highly qualified and motivated Purchasing Assistant to work on-site with our client a worldwide designer manufacturer and integrator of a precision control components company. This position supports the purchasing of materials equipment supplies and services essential to advancing the companys strategic goals. The ideal candidate is a quick learner detail-oriented and excited to start their career in supply chain management. As a W2 employee you will have access to health benefits.
Responsibilities:

Provide support for purchasing activities ensuring alignment with the companys strategic plans.

Maintain work processes and workflows tailored to the units needs.

Offer efficient and proficient service for principals in line with established procedures.

Act as a reliable backup for other units or principals as required.

Handle complex documents spreadsheets reports and presentations including completing specialized templates and forms.

Compose straightforward correspondence and integrate standardized elements into specified formats.

Maintain effective communication with internal and external contacts.
Must-Have Qualifications:
-
Recent graduate (within the past year) from a 2- or 4-year program or 2 years of relevant progressively skilled full-time experience with a directly relevant Associate degree.

Basic office skills including the ability to handle administrative tasks effectively.

SAP experience and proficiency using T-codes.

Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively.

Proficient in using a range of automated office and information-technology-based equipment.

Must be a U.S. citizen.
