Job Description:
We are looking for a person with an upbeat attitude motivated with strong organizational and interpersonal skills to join our team as the Janitor for our Administration Cultural and Operations & Maintenance Buildings in the community of La Ronge. Working 7.5-hour shifts some Overtime may be required. This position is responsible for the provision of general janitorial duties. The main goal is to ensure that our buildings meet Health & Safety Standards and Occupational Safety Standards.

Key Responsibilities
Ensure Occupational Health & Safety Standards are met;
Will perform and maintain janitorial services inside and outside of the buildings/facilities.
Maintain sanitation of the buildings and grounds;
Order supplies and keep track on inventory control;
Maintain the clinic/facility in an appropriate and cost-effective manner;
Must be able to follow a Daily Weekly Monthly Seasonal check list;Education
Licenses
Education
Minimum Grade 10; Pervious Janitorial experience is an asset;
Other Education and Training
Certification in WHIMIS and First Aide & CPR is an asset (or will to obtain);
Competencies
Basic Computer Skills;
Knowledge and Abilities
Willing to learn new skills and take further training as required;
Must be able to work independently self-directed and demonstrate organizational skills;
Knowledge of Woodland Cree Language Culture and Traditional an asset;
Ability to speak/understand Cree is an asset;
Experience working with First Nations communities is an asset;
Other Information
A current and satisfactory Criminal Record Check Vulnerable Sector Screening and Drivers Abstract is required upon hire.
