About the Role:
The Tax Manager plays a vital role in ensuring the companys full compliance with tax regulations. This position oversees tax planning reporting and filing processes while proactively identifying risks and opportunities to optimize the companys tax position. The Tax Manager serves as a key liaison between internal departments and external stakeholdersincluding auditors tax authorities and consultantsto coordinate accurate and timely tax-related activities. Through strategic oversight and collaboration this role safeguards the organizations financial integrity and supports long-term business objectives.
Responsibilities:
Act as the primary contact for all tax compliance matters and regulatory concernsPrepare and ensure timely filing and payment of tax returnsmonthly quarterly semestral and annualto the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) and Local Government Units (LGUs).Manage ongoing BIR tax cases and assessments tracking their progress toward resolution in collaboration with consultants and the Regional Headquarters (RHQ).Conduct regular reviews of tax-related practices to ensure full compliance with Philippine regulations (e.g. BIR LGU Bureau of Customs).Identify non-compliant or high-risk practices and implement corrective actions in coordination with leadership RHQ representatives and department point persons (PICs).Support special projects and respond to ad hoc requests related to tax and accounting initiatives.
