As aleader in a Child Care Center this position allows you to inspire lead a team of qualified teachers and administrative staff in providing the best learning and development experience for children and their families. Position Overview: As a Center Director you will be part of the management team responsible for managing the overall program including human resource development staff scheduling program planning program implementation and evaluation; student assessments family relations marketing enrollments and academy operations.
Position Requirements:
- Minimum two (2) years of full-time experience in managing large (>100 capacity) center-based programs in a Center Director role.
- Candidates should have all credentials required for the position of a Center Director per WAC or be willing to get them shortly after joining
- A thorough knowledge of WA Licensing regulations (WACs) for childcare centers and a great understanding of developmentally appropriate practices
- Must have at least an AA degree in childcare or management or related field.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Action oriented organized strategic thinker focused on getting the right things done
