Job Summary

Planate Management Group (PMG) is a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) headquartered in Alexandria Virginia and Orlando Florida USA with technical support centers in South East Asia and East Africa that provide program management and facilities engineering services worldwide. Planate is a small business provider of planning design infrastructure management technical consulting engineering and construction management services in support of the US Department of Defense (DOD) and its Service (Army Air Force Navy Marine Corps) missions along with other US federal agencies all over the world.


We are seeking an experienced Procurement Specialist to support local purchasing and procurement operations for a technical or infrastructure project. This role works closely with the Procurement and Subcontracts Manager and ensures full compliance with our client and local procurement regulations.

This is a nationwide project and we need someone who is willing to travel and take on assignments at various project sites across the country.

This position is contingent upon the award of the contract

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Procurement and Subcontracts Manager as part of the Global Support Team
  • Lead local procurement activities including sourcing bidding and vendor selection
  • Ensure all procurement actions comply with our client and Philippine procurement policies
  • Vet suppliers and manage purchase orders delivery schedules and warranty requirements
  • Coordinate with the Property Manager to support asset tracking tagging and inventory documentation
  • Maintain accurate procurement files documentation and approvals in line with audit requirements
  • Support VAT exemption processing and maintain proper records with local authorities
  • Work closely with logistics finance and technical teams to ensure timely and cost-effective purchasing

Qualifications to be successful in the role:

  • Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management Business Engineering or a related field
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in procurement for technical or infrastructure projects
  • Knowledge of Philippine procurement laws and U.S. Government (USG) procurement standards
  • Proven experience managing local vendors sourcing equipment and negotiating terms
  • Familiar with US Federal Agency procurement policies and procedures
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Proficient in Microsoft Office and procurement tracking tools
  • Excellent English communication skills both written and verbal
