The Content Systems Specialist is a pivotal member of the Content Operations team responsible for overseeing the end-to-end management optimization and integrity of our digital content systems and platforms. This role ensures seamless integration of content across multiple channels supports enterprise-wide content initiatives and serves as the subject matter expert for content management technologies. The Content Systems Specialist proactively identifies opportunities for workflow improvements troubleshoots system-related issues and empowers cross-functional teams to maximize the value and consistency of our digital assets.
Key Responsibilities
System Administration & Management:
Oversee the configuration maintenance and enhancement of the organizations Content Management System (CMS) and related digital asset management platforms. Ensure system stability security and scalability in alignment with business goals.
Content Workflow Optimization:
Develop and document standardized workflows for content creation approval publication and archival. Continuously assess and improve processes for efficiency compliance and quality assurance.
Technical Support & Troubleshooting:
Provide expert technical support for internal stakeholders. Investigate diagnose and resolve system issues and user inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
Data Governance & Quality Control:
Enforce metadata standards taxonomy structures and content tagging protocols. Monitor content accuracy consistency and compliance with organizational guidelines and legal requirements.
Project Coordination:
Collaborate with IT Marketing Legal and external vendors on system upgrades migrations and integrations. Coordinate timelines deliverables and testing to ensure successful project outcomes.
User Training & Documentation:
Develop and deliver training materials user guides and best practice documentation for employees and partners engaging with content systems.
Innovation & Continuous Improvement:
Stay abreast of industry trends emerging technologies and best practices in content systems management. Recommend and implement enhancements to drive business value and user satisfaction.
Reporting & Analytics:
Generate and analyze reports on content performance system usage and operational KPIs. Present insights and recommendations to management for strategic decision-making.
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Information Systems Computer Science Library Sciences Communications or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years experience managing enterprise-level content or digital asset management systems.
Demonstrated expertise in at least one major CMS (e.g. Sitecore Adobe Experience Manager WordPress Drupal).
Solid understanding of metadata taxonomy information architecture and content governance principles.
Experience with HTML CSS and basic scripting for troubleshooting and customization.
Proficient in project management methodologies and tools (e.g. JIRA Asana Trello).
Exceptional analytical organizational and problem-solving skills.
Strong interpersonal and communication abilities capable of translating technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
Ability to work independently manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
Compensation
Annual Salary: $72800 - $84500 commensurate with experience and qualifications.
