- Build and wire customized industrial control panels by reading and interpreting electrical schematics.
- Layout drill punch tap and mounting of components in sheet metal enclosures.
- Route and bundle wires and cables neatly and according to established electrical standards.
- Complete projects within allocated project hours and by due date.
- Ensure work meets project specifications and quality standards.
- Escalate any concerns or issues related to project timeline quality issues etc. to Account Lead.
- Conduct field service work at customer locations (travel up to 15% of the time).
- Improve quality of work and personal productivity on a continuous basis.
- Follow and comply with all safety protocols work regulations and 6S guidelines.
- Maintain clean work area; promptly remove debris.
- Maintain reliable and predictable attendance.
Automation Technician Minimum Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of experience in reading schematics and wiring industrial control panels.
- Must hold valid drivers license with ability to travel between work locations and to customer sites.
