Responsibilities:
1. Panel Work
a. Supervise and lead our sensory panels
b. Recruit train manage and motivate sensory panellists
c. Preparation of tests (organisation of sessions & samples preparation of test questionnaires)
d. Conduct sessions (descriptive profiling temporal assessment and discrimination testing)
- Assist with statistical analysis and data visualisation
- Support with writing reports for the client
- Follow-up and control of panelists performance
- Participation in the quality assurance process
2. People:
a. Close collaboration with the field team
b. Work closely with other members of our sensory and research team and the Data Solutions Hub
3. Strategy:
Ensuring that ongoing activities and projects adhere to the companys strategic guidelines
Qualifications :
- University degree ideally in food science social sciences psychology statistics or economics
- Experience in project management and/or running a sensory panel would be desirable
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English and the local language
- Proficiency in MS Office: Word Excel PowerPoint etc
- Rigorous responsive and proactive
- Strong organisational and planning skills that ensure work is effectively prioritised to meet deadlines
