Working Hours: 37 hours per week

Worker Type: Hybrid Worker

Salary: 56730- 60125 per annum (pro-rata for part-time)

Job Purpose:We are seeking a passionate and experienced IRO Service Manager to lead our Independent Reviewing Officer (IRO) functions. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in promoting the welfare of children and young people ensuring their voices are heard and considered in statutory reviews and childrens plans.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the IRO functions in line with relevant legal frameworks statutory guidance and best practice principles.
  • Provide support and challenge to Childrens Social Care to continuously improve performance and quality in practice.
  • Promote and facilitate the active involvement of children young people and families in statutory reviews and childrens plans.
  • Ensure the effective and efficient delivery of services driving high service standards and achieving outcomes in line with performance indicators.
  • Provide analysis related to service area activity to inform wider planning and commissioning agendas.
  • Support strategic service development work as directed by the Head of Service.
