Description
As a Program Manager of Community Solutions and Peer Supports you will supervise and support the specialized service array of Family and Youth Peer Advocacy. You will ensure that service provision documentation and training of staff meet defined standards. You will ensure that all direct reports who are credentialed youth or family peers maintain their professional peer credentials. You will also plan group services and family events to support parents and caregivers who are caring for a youth with behavioral emotional and mental health issues.
You will report to the Director of Home & Community-based Services. You will work onsite with community travel as this position interfaces with members of the community and staff in several office locations.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise program staff and any assigned supervisors.
- Ensure that service provision and documentation of all services meet defined program agency and licensing standards
- Coordinate referrals and case assignments
- Oversee hiring and training of Family Peers and Youth Peers
- Collaborate with community partners including county SPOA coordinators school personnel and other service providers who may work with the family or assigned youth
- Provide program statistics as needed by county contracts or licensing oversight bodies and participate in outside audits.
- Be knowledgeable of resources available to support familys needs
- Use own lived experience as a Credentialed Family Peer to advocate for family-driven care principles and to model appropriate use of lived experience advocating for family voice and choice
Requirements and Education:
- Professional Family Peer Credential required.
- Five years of related experience or equivalent experience
- High School Diploma required
- Drivers license required
