THE POSITION
As a result of our continued success and growth we are now recruiting for a Senior Researcher Analytical Chemistry to join our purpose-driven Research team and challenge the status quo in animal health in the world.

The Senior Researcher Analytical Chemistry is part of our R&D team of microbiologists immunologist and chemist and develops quantification methods for and performs analyses of key ingredients in the various product formulations and applications. The person interacts within the R&D team with the applied researchers and production/quality control to ensure optimised product compositions and applications as well as to clarify the mode of action and kinetics of individual ingredients.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsible for the development of analytical methods for the quantification of a variety of plant-based active chemical compounds using HPLC and LC-MS/MS;

You will be performing and optimising various analytical chemical laboratory tests in simple and complex mixtures;

Analyse results report findings and draw conclusions for product development and optimization;

Supervise the analytical quality control activities of a chemical analyst.

The above is not an exhaustive list of duties and you will be expected to perform different tasks as necessitated by your changing role within the organization and the overall business objectives of the organization.

Requirements

IDEAL CRITERIA

Education at . or HBO bachelors degree level in Analytical Chemistry with a strong foundation in laboratory HPLC and LC-MS/MS techniques and principles;

Scientific mindset. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;

Ability to troubleshoot experimental issues identify potential errors or inconsistencies and propose appropriate solutions;

3-4 years work experience in an analytical lab environment is preferred;

Positive hands-on mentality and a team player;

Accurate organized and strong documentation skills;

Proficient in data collection analysis and interpretation;

Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. Strong interpersonal skills the willingness to learn from colleagues and contribute to a positive and productive work culture;

Fluently speaking and write in Dutch or English.
