Practice Location: Richard Barry Park
Practice Schedule: Monday Friday 4:005:00 PM
Home Game Location: Knights Field (main turf field)
Coaching Stipend: Included
Job Summary:
Lake Norman Charter is seeking a dedicated and experienced Varsity Womens Soccer Head Coach to lead and develop our high school soccer program. The Head Coach will be responsible for fostering a positive team culture teaching fundamental and advanced skills and preparing student-athletes to compete at a high level both on and off the field.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage all aspects of the varsity soccer program.
- Plan and conduct daily practices and training sessions.
- Develop and implement game strategies and player development plans.
- Foster a culture of teamwork discipline accountability and sportsmanship.
- Supervise assistant coaches staff and student-athletes.
- Communicate effectively with players parents athletic department and school administration.
- Ensure compliance with school conference and state athletic regulations.
- Promote academic success and character development for all student-athletes.
- Manage equipment uniforms and program needs within athletic department guidelines.
Qualifications:
- Prior coaching experience (head coach or assistant at the high school club or college level preferred).
- Strong knowledge of soccer fundamentals strategies and rules.
- Ability to teach mentor and motivate high school student-athletes.
- Excellent communication organizational and leadership skills.
- Must meet all certification and training requirements set by the school conference and state.
