Job Summary

Our client a leading producer in the Table Grape industry invites experienced and dynamic candidates to apply for the position of Production Assistant. This is an opportunity to manage a Table Grape unit somewhat cost-effectively with a focus on optimal quality and production under the guidance of the Production Manager.

Education and Requirements:

Grade 12 matric certificate
A Tertiary Education in Agriculture will be beneficial

Responsibilities:

Effective planning of production practices
Productive management of laborers
Management of warehouse storage in collaboration with production manager
Maintaining discipline and sound labor management practices
Administration regarding industry-related audits and wages with support from office lady

Skills:

Computer and numeracy proficiency embedded and not limited to knowledge of Microsoft Office (e.g. Excel Word) will strengthen the application;
Good communication and people relations skills;
Ability to work under time pressure and meet deadlines;
Good phone etiquette good team cooperation;
Fully proficient in Afrikaans and English;
High regard for confidentiality;
Punctuality and a strong sense of responsibility.
