As a Product Manager you will be responsible for driving market research product lifecycle management and business case development while collaborating closely with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure long-term success. Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelors Degree in Business Marketing Economics or a related field (essential)
MBA or Postgraduate qualification (advantageous)
510 years total experience with at least 23 years as a Sales Manager and subsequent experience in product management
Exposure to Sub-Saharan African markets is highly advantageous
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute product strategies tailored for Sub-Saharan markets
Conduct market research to identify customer needs industry trends and regional opportunities
Formulate and present business cases to senior stakeholders for product investment decisions
Define and implement pricing and positioning strategies to optimise market competitiveness
Manage the full product lifecycle from ideation to market launch and ongoing improvements
Partner with cross-functional teams (Sales Marketing Supply Chain Finance and R&D) to align strategies and deliver results
Provide insights and reporting on product performance profitability and growth opportunities
ERP & Systems Exposure:
Proficient in MS Office Suite (Excel PowerPoint and Outlook)
Familiarity with CRM or ERP systems (SAP Salesforce or similar) would be advantageous
Traits & Competencies:
Strong strategic and analytical thinking with the ability to turn insights into actionable plans
Commercial acumen with an excellent understanding of pricing and market dynamics
