Job Summary

Senior Project Manager

The Senior Project Manager is responsible for leading the full project lifecycle from strategic planning and scoping to execution and closure. They provide overall leadership governance and accountability for project delivery ensuring alignment with business objectives timelines and budgets. The Senior PM drives continuous improvement by standardizing processes introducing best practices and embedding lessons learned. They also act as a mentor and coach developing project management capability across the organization while maintaining their own professional growth through industry knowledge and certifications.

1. Project Planning & Strategy

Lead the entire project from scoping and planning to execution and closure.

Define deliverables milestones and timelines in alignment with organizational strategy.

Establish success criteria and ensure projects contribute to business objectives.

2. Coordination & Oversight

Direct and coordinate project teams ensuring effective collaboration and timely delivery.

Monitor project performance identify risks or delays early and implement corrective actions.

Oversee interdependencies across multiple workstreams.

3. Project Documentation & Reporting

Produce high-quality reports and executive dashboards for leadership and stakeholders.

Ensure all project documentation (plans minutes risk logs change requests) is accurate complete and audit ready.

Maintain visibility of progress against scope schedule and budget.

4. 4. Team Support

Provide guidance coaching and performance feedback to team members on an ad-hoc basis when required.

Step in to clarify responsibilities or assist with role alignment when project demands necessitate it.

Contribute to fostering a supportive environment that encourages accountability collaboration and learning without acting as the primary people manager.

5. Stakeholder Executive & Client Communication

Act as the primary liaison with executives clients and cross-functional leaders.

Provide structured transparent status updates highlighting risks achievements and required decisions.

Facilitate steering committee and stakeholder meetings with clear agendas and follow-ups.

6. SLA & Client Relationship Management

Ensure all client-facing projects are delivered in line with contractual Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

Track and report on SLA performance proactively addressing deviations or risks of breach.

Maintain strong client relationships balancing delivery excellence with customer satisfaction.

Drive service improvements and negotiate adjustments to SLAs when required.

7. Risk Issue & Change Management

Own the risk management framework: proactively identify assess and mitigate risks.

Lead issue resolution by mobilizing resources and removing blockers.

Manage change requests balancing scope schedule and budget with stakeholder expectations.

8. Budget & Resource Accountability

Manage project budgets ensuring cost control and alignment with ROI expectations.

Optimize resource allocation across teams vendors and third parties.

Forecast financial and resource needs providing early visibility of gaps.

9. Quality Assurance & Delivery Excellence

Ensure deliverables meet quality standards client requirements and regulatory obligations.

Oversee testing acceptance and delivery processes to guarantee project outcomes.

Conduct post-implementation reviews and embed lessons learned.

10. Project Implementation & Execution

Drive execution of project plans ensuring timely delivery within defined scope.

Act as the escalation point for project issues providing decisive leadership.

Ensure alignment between tactical execution and strategic objectives.

11. Continuous Improvement & Innovation

Champion best practices methodologies and tools that improve project delivery.

Implement process improvements and standardize templates governance and reporting.

Promote innovation in project management to enhance efficiency and value creation.

Requirements:

Bachelors degree (Business/IS/Engineering)

5- 8 years PM experience delivering web/app/platform or omni-channel projects

Strong Agile & hybrid delivery (sprints fixed scope)

Planning & governance: roadmaps change control RACI KPIs/OKRs

Financials: budgets margin burn variance

Stakeholder Management: client-facing steercos escalation handlingTech fluency: APIs integrations environments
Tooling: Jira/Azure DevOps Confluence Miro/Lucid MS Project
Nice to have: Certs: PMP/PRINCE2 PSM/PSPO PMI-ACP

Domain: fintech retail/e-commerce payments health/loyalty/startups UAT; contracts/MSA/SOW experience
