Job Description
Since opening in 2003 the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Conejo Valley has grown to be one of the largest in Southern California. We provide a safe and nurturing environment for youth in grades K-8 helping them learn play and grow. Our mission is to enhance the lives of young people and their families by cultivating academic success healthy lifestyles good character and citizenship.
- A Strong Leader able to inspire supervise and coach staff and volunteers to deliver high-quality programs.
- A Strategic Thinker skilled at planning implementing and evaluating programs to meet the needs of youth and the community.
- A Community Builder able to develop and sustain strong partnerships with schools parents and community leaders.
- An Advocate for Youth representing the Club in the community and championing resources funding and support for programs.
- An Operations Manager organized and detail-oriented in overseeing budgets facilities safety and compliance.
- A Relationship Builder fostering engagement with families and stakeholders to increase participation and strengthen impact.
- A Growth Mindset Leader committed to coaching professional development and creating a culture of accountability and continuous learning.
- Oversee daily Club operations ensuring safe and effective program delivery.
- Recruit train and supervise staff and volunteers providing professional development opportunities.
- Maintain accurate records reports and compliance with grant/funding requirements.
- Build strong partnerships with schools parents and community organizations.
- Manage Club finances facilities and resources.
- Lead efforts to grow membership participation and family engagement.
- Represent the organization at community events school meetings and partner functions.
- Bachelors degree or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 5 years experience in nonprofit management including staff supervision (1 year at Club Director level preferred).
- Demonstrated success in program development staff leadership and community partnerships.
- Excellent communication conflict resolution and organizational skills.
- Passion for youth development and experience working directly with children.
